After completing my initial History and New Media course as part of my PhD program at GMU, I find myself gravitating toward unique and interesting ways to visualize data. I took an Edward Tufte seminar back in 2000 when his ideas were just starting to come to the corporate mainstream, but with new technology and ways to dynamically represent volumes of data, I’m sure this has grown faster and more robust than even Tufte could have imagined.
This is, by far, one of the coolest dynamic data visualizations I’ve seen to date.
