Comments, Week of May 3

I commented on Kellie’s project, Carrie’s project and Laura’s progress.

  1. Kellie says:

A question, rather than a comment. Do you know if when we number footnotes it is better to view all pages as stand alone pages or, since this is one larger article strung out over several pages, it should be numbered continual?

    • erinbush says:

You know I don’t know actually. My pages are actually distinct pages, so I start my footnotes over with number 1 on each page, but I think other’s use a “continue” structure that necessitates using them in order. I think it’s probably up to you and your desired flow.

  2. Kellie says:

And thank you for my color ideas. I needed some contrast.

  3. Kellie says:

I went with the same idea. I think that we should assume someone might click on a random page – come into the site in the middle and so each page with footnotes should stand alone.

  4. re footnotes. I’m kind of with Erin — assuming each page is an article unto its own, and footnoting accordingly.
